In this episode, I’m very pleased to welcome back Mark Inskip, CEO of Matrix SCM. Mark shares how the business has developed over the last several months and how he aims to get a return on the investment they have made so far around their purpose. He also describes how he deals with his own Friday six o’clock list: all those things you just don’t get around to in the working week.
Mark joined Matrix-SCM in summer 2021, a leading technology led contingent labour marketplace, to drive the next stage of its growth and development following investment from Bridgepoint PE in 2020. Prior to joining Matrix Mark held several leadership positions in Kantar and has had a varied and successful career having been a sandpaper salesman, an award winning CMO, a global consulting partner and a successful business founder. As part of that journey, he’s worked across multiple industries such as industrial, financial services, utilities, media & e-commerce and across many markets including Asia, Africa and North America. Mark lives in the countryside in Berkshire with his wife and two teenage children. He’s a keen field hockey player and spends a good deal of his time coaching and umpiring. He also enjoys cycling & spinning and is learning to sail. In his ‘spare’ time Mark is also studying for a Masters in Executive Coaching at Ashridge University..
