Our guest is Colin Fyfe, CEO of the Hinkley & Rugby Building Society. He discusses how they serve customers that can be underrepresented by larger organisations, what external support they had in their work on purpose, and how they demonstrate their purpose – not just talk about it.
The Hinckley & Rugby Building Society is a top 20 UK building society. Its history stretches back over a century and a half, yet today it is a modern, ethical business that offers competitive, yet easy to understand, savings accounts and mortgages across England and Wales.
Colin joined the Hinckley & Rugby Building Society in November 2018 after leading the Darlington Building Society since 2014.
Prior to that Colin worked for 29 years in banking with Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks primarily based in Glasgow, Melbourne, London, and Manchester. He worked in commercial and corporate banking, risk management and marketing and held the position of Divisional Director in his last role.
Colin has supported a number of business, charitable and social organisations and enjoys sharing his knowledge, skills and experience gained over the years.
