David joined Totalkare in 2018 as Managing Director as part of an MBI/MBO. He is leading the transformation of the organisation from a niche supplier of specific lifting solutions for trucks and buses into a solutions provider for complete commercial vehicle workshops for road and rail. He has been wrestling with the metamorphosis of the purpose of the business that a change of ownership, leadership and strategy brings.
Prior to joining Totalkare David has worked in a multitude of industries. He considers himself to be a ‘Product Manager’ at his core with a focus on finding or creating the products that customers really need, even when they don’t realise that they do. During his career he has spent time in various industries but always within b2b and usually with electro-mechanical products in SME environments.
Totalkare have been established for over 40 years but David is sure that their evolution into the market leading brand in their sector will be successful by remaining true to their core values. Being ‘Expert’ in the products and services that they supply whilst remaining ‘Effortless’ to do business with are key elements.
